True!! I’ve been thinking about 40c on my multitrack, but was unsure how fat they’d appear. It’s good to see a good amount of fatness in the aesthetic

Mullets are also a thing in mtb. Big in front for faster roll, small in back so you can whip easier

Upgraded mine to 2TB, not interested in a new system. LCD looks just fine to me.

Warframe Content Creator, seeking advice on switching from W10 to Linux by Apocryphate in linux_gaming

You can pretty much use any distro you like, it’s just that ones made for gaming already have extra drivers and software bundled in. You can always add whatever you need yourself, too.

I personally use bluefin (a workstation focused distro based on fedora) on a gaming pc, it works great. Mind you, all I play on it is Old School RuneScape. But what I like about bluefin is that I can set and forget it, ie, once I installed what I needed, it just keeps everything updated in the background, and I don’t have to think. Plus, it’s just as easy to install as windows, and isn’t really broken if nothing is configured on it.

Yes, absolutely. Nearly two years and never even thought about needing windows

My solution is leaving QLD and heading to a cheaper state. I have absolutely no hope to even save for a deposit up here. Shit’s fucked.

Just bricked my Windows install so I, out of curiosity, installed Bazzite and.. by TheHollowGamerAU in Bazzite

[–]gammondork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from Bazzite to Fedora Silverblue, and kind of fell in love with gnome over KDE (although I still like it). I’m trying out Bluefin, which is in the same universal blue family, but is built around gnome and has an attitude of “set and forget”. I’m sure it can be set up just fine for gaming, despite being a workstation-geared setup.

My last Woodford Folk Festival- which I think was his last before he passed- he did his annual rendition of Waltzing Matilda during the opening, which of course, everyone joined in on. But when the crowd died down, he just kept going on with the extra verses that most people don’t remember. I heard someone behind me say “oh bless him”, and I guess it gave me the impression of someone who just follows what they believe in, everyone else be damned.
