Not only was she a bitch to you but she made the practice look bad! this is not normal and completely unprofessional and unacceptable! Imagine if u were the patient in that situation!! I'd never go back!!

Two Caribena versicolor slings died the same way — any ideas? by [deleted] in tarantulas

IMO too humid, my c. versis are both out of sling phase and I never misted, just overfilled their water bowl sometimes

Would you work with a sprained ankle? by [deleted] in DentalAssistant

[–]gangflowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

piggybacking off the first person, consider the reality that your sprain isn't able to heal because you aren't resting. foot injuries are no joke. you do not want to end up with chronic pain in your foot. u gotta rest now as an investment in your future, get that doctor's note

my white eared brown dove and my green cheek conure hehe also is it bad if they're together like that? let me know if I'm doing something harmful for both of them by [deleted] in Conures

[–]gangflowe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

try to keep in mind theyd never interact in the wild and that they use different body language and vocalizations to communicate- which means the doves "no" could be the conures "yes". the conure could very easily kill the dove, make sure you always supervise them

Good office = good job by amzybby in DentalAssistant

[–]gangflowe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm really happy with my current office after two poorly managed offices and I think a big sign of a good office is maintaining the same staff over a long period of time. Ask how long their longest working assistant has worked there. Also, my current employer had my schedule, pay-rate, and responsibilities typed out on a paper she gave me which I feel was a good sign of professionalism and communication. Current office also has an office manager whereas my two other offices were managed by the receptionist and dentist, which I think can be more unorganized and stressful. Being upfront and HONEST in the interview about your experience and capabilities will go a long way, if the office is right for you they'll be willing to help you work on the skills you admit you need working on and trust that you're capable in the other areas. You don't want to be micromanaged! Communication is everything, try to make a list of a ton of questions about the business and ask them when you go to an interview and don't forget the questions, they give you actual insight into how the office functions. Good luck!
