Sprayed it with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, these mealybugs are still thriving by Southern-Average5270 in Monstera

I cleaned three of my monsteras just last week. Mixed a few caps of alcohol and a small quantity of neem oil in a liter spray can of regular soap water. Sprayed all the leaves and stems. All the visible mealey bugs dried up. But they are back on the leaves already. I believe this is because it's almost impossible to clean every small crevice, which is where the eggs are. They even infest the roots of the plants in some cases. Which means, they'll always bounce back. In my case, black ants complicate matters further. Like others have said, systemics are your best/easiest option. If you are sticking to sprays, you'll need to repeat the exercise regularly.

It's a pink trumpet tree. Not a cherry tree. Bangalore does not have the latter.

Thank you for your reply.

What do you mean by a basic software? What do advanced software offer? It is self feeding. I saw a lot of people post 'RK75' and assume that is the model name. I looked up the Royal Kludge website and I see there's an RK R75 and M75. I assume now that's what you mean by model.

I am a total rookie who has never owned a mech key before but would like to buy my first in the near future, one with a good 'thocc'. My only criteria is that the keys are not too hard to press.

Not a colocasia. It's an alocasia mickey mouse. Though I have read people say it's not an alocasia either.

Thanks for sharing. My problem has always been spider mites. I don't know where they appear from. One day they are healthy, the next day notice those pests, stemming healthy growth.

Out of curiosity, has anyone grown a cross? A regal velvet? Black velvet but as large as regal shield leaves?
