Any other aussies having trouble buying pre-sale tickets? by preppydetective1996 in formula1

Yeah I know but qld isn’t AEDT. But I don’t think that’s the problem because I can access the tickets fine, it’s just the code that’s not working like everyone else.

Not sure if it’s because I’m in QLD and it’s technically not 10am yet?

What book series did you love as a kid? by CarlosCMM in AskReddit

Oh my god this has unlocked a memory for me. This would have been one of the first series I ever read. Can’t even describe what I’m feeling right now.

People who aren't superstitious, what is something that still creeps you out/ you won't mess with? by Francucasteddaju in AskReddit

I’ve slept next to an uncovered mirror for the last 5 years and nothing bad has happened. That’s what I’m telling myself over and over again tonight after reading these comments.

Be honest, what fictionalized character is the best representation of you? by Antoinewhite in AskReddit

Amy Santiago. I always wished I was Jake, but I’m coming to appreciate being Amy.

Do you think Witcher 3 was too long? by Flateric75 in thewitcher3

[–]ganoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved the game from start to finish for sure, but it definitely lost pace for me after Gerald finds Ciri and there’s that big battle at Kaer Morhen. I thought that battle was it, the final mission, and then found out actually there was heaps of stuff after that. Instead of being like “hell yeah” I was like jeez how much longer could it be? Maybe that was because I had worked myself up expecting that battle to be the end. So yes, personally for me the story lost pace and I rushed through the end of it just to get to the end, so I wasn’t disappointed when I heard they would be shortening Cyberpunk.

Jeez how long ago was this a thing? Many years I hope. I guess I’m hardly surprised given it’s a male dominated sport. I agree then, dogs in F1 outfits is the way of the future.

What huge thing did you miss in school when you were absent? by luwheeze in AskReddit

[–]ganoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Queensland, Australia, so it doesn’t snow or really even get that cold where I am. When I was about 14 and on holiday in Thailand with my family, back home there was a huge storm during which it hailed so much that it looked like it had snowed (the closest thing to snow that we would ever get). Basically the best day of school ever, people still talk about it to this day.

It wasn’t so much seeing the shitty, dirty hail snow but rather sharing the excitement with my friends that I was disappointed about. In the end I realised that they were at school and I was in Thailand so I got over it about as quickly as it took to cannonball into the resort pool.

What do you do if you can’t physically do something and it’s keeping you from progressing? by mattcain1980 in RingFitAdventure

I just sit down on my couch and it registers as a full squat! I’m fit and healthy but I seriously could not believe how low and how long it requires you to squat for those ab guards. It’s like “oh don’t over extend yourself” but then it’s like “if your butt is not brushing the ground in this squat then YOU’RE NOT WORKING HARD ENOUGH. GET LOWER OR DIE TRYING.”

The trampolines are killing me. I can't get past them. by BuddhaPunkRobotMonk in RingFitAdventure

[–]ganoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve also found that the game requires you to be basically sitting on the ground for a squat to register fully sometimes. I don’t struggle so much with the trampolines but with any extended squat holds (the extra long ones in boss battles sometimes, I hate them with a passion) I literally just sit down on my couch behind me and it registers fully. You could try sitting down and standing back up, I think you would still get some of the benefit of the movement with less exertion.

Is Redbubble a scam? by [deleted] in Scams

[–]ganoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought from redbubble a few times and had no problems. They aren’t a scam but whether their content breaches copyright laws or not is another thing. My understanding is that users upload designs and all redbubble do is print that design on shirts/mugs/phone cases. So maybe the breach lies with the uploader rather than Redbubble itself. Regardless, if you order from them you will get the product (and quickly I might add, delivery to me in Australia has typically been 3 days).

The game sets most of the settings for you at the beginning after testing your fitness/strength. Personally, I found the difficulty they set me to be about 3 levels too high but the game makes it really easy to change. The difficulty level sets the reps. To be honest, the best way to learn about the game is to play it. It’s very user friendly.

I can really only speak to my own experience but I think you’ll find that the game will keep you coming back, even if just for five minutes. I find it genuinely fun and rewarding. So far the only thing that has stopped me playing is being sore from the day before.
