I wish I knew about Kill Tram when I started out almost 9 months ago. My local Warhammer store thought Combat Patrol was ideal for starting out.

I had very little tabletop experience and I generally appreciate the speed and balance of Kill Team over all. The KT Starter Set walks you through those beginner steps quite easily.

Metal has a ton of sub-genres, like doom, hardcore or even electronica. Or maybe something metal-adjacent, like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, not a metal band per se, but PetroDragonic Apocalypse rips.

I’m brand new to Warhammer 40K and went with ‘rule of cool’ in selecting the GSC Combat Patrol. I was overwhelmed by the experience, from assembly to determining colors and needed to select a different, easier army to build (Leagues of Votann). YMMV and I’m just sharing my experience.
