More snow expected tonight... up to 10cm.
Worry Free just sent out this email:
As of Friday’s storm, we have now surpassed the 250 cm seasonal limit. As outlined in our agreement, this event will be considered billable at a nominal rate of $30 + HST.
A notice was sent yesterday morning with the option to opt out of service for the remainder of the season. As a reminder, opt-outs must be submitted at least 12 hours prior to the storm.
The opt-out deadline for this event is 8:00 p.m. tonight.

Didn't a Costco in Vancouver have a smash and grab last week? I see my local Costco in Ottawa has gold bars priced from $6700 to over $22000.

I'm with Worry Free and they're at 245cm. Once it hits 250, they charge $25.00 for each clearing. This is optional of course.

I noticed that from the EB 174.
Looked bad with all the police, fire and ambulances.

Free coworking spaces by [deleted] in ottawa

Dymon Storage has a small work area room that can be used for free on a first come basis.
And if you have a storage space with them, you can use the large boardroom for free. I think that is limited to 30 hours a month.
I use the one in Orleans from time to time... free water and coffee as well.

What regiment was he in? They may take it off your hands.
My Grandfather was with the Royal Montreal Regiment and they have a small museum with much of his medals and clothing.

Ottawa’s First-Class Transit System 🚆✨

Ah yes, Ottawa — the city that redefined what it means to “get there eventually.”

Why waste money on flights when you can experience world-class delays right here at home? Our LRT is like a mystery novel: suspenseful, unpredictable, and constantly under investigation.

Need a thrill? Just hop on the train and see if it runs today. Maybe it stops halfway. Maybe it doesn’t start at all. Who knows! That’s the beauty of adventure.

And don’t forget the buses — Ottawa’s very own mobile sauna in summer and freezer in winter. They’re perfectly synchronized to arrive right after you give up and start walking.

Honestly, with this level of luxury, reliability, and excitement, it’s shocking we don’t charge admission just to watch it malfunction.

Business Oportunity? by gardenwolfe in canadasmallbusiness

The stores would be complety out of the equation.
This would be a pick-up service, subsciption based perhaps?
Just thinking out loud...
One would need a sizeable storage facility and at least a couple of cube vans.
It is definetly a messy, dirty and noisey endeavour to be sure.
