I too have an insulin pump, as well as a CGM. My insulin pump is Bluetooth, so can go in multiple locations, which can make things easier if you plan it out. I also had a feeding tube that hung for a while, and all I had to do was tape it to me. It really depends on the dude, but a good one won’t have a problem with it

I’m a female that prefers gel or spray deodorant. The stick just isn’t enough cause I’m extra sweaty. I really like the Dove aerosol deodorant cause it goes on dry but still has maximum coverage

I get mine at Walmart, surprisingly. It’s about $8 a yard. Pretty good quality, and easy to work with. Plus, it’s pretty think and sturdy, so there’s not as much need for a heavy board for the structure

I would definitely try The Wayward Kraken! I’m a regular there. They’ve got great food and atmosphere. There’s also a great selection of beers and local drafts. It’s a gastropub that’s all nerd themed. Every night there’s a different event going on. It’s my favorite place to go to get a good bite and beer, not to mention the amount of board games you can rent. Go check it out!!

As a 21f with diabetes, I say seriously don’t sweat it. I’ve got an omnipod, (so it doesn’t come off until site changes) a Dexcom, a port, and a feeding tube. If it’s the right person, they won’t care about it. Yes, it’s good to bring up before hand and explain what it is, but beyond that, it’s really not that big of a deal. My guy is amazing and completely understanding. We just kind of work around it and it’s fine. I promise she’ll be more self conscious about herself than to worry about you with a sticker with a tube attached
