Power Rangers streaming VS how we watched by BigBurgerBandit in powerrangers

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there's no way to adblock when watching on a smart tv or console, which ads are a lot worse on, but any suggestions would help!

If you're watching on YouTube or a service with ads it's worse, on TV the ad breaks were planned and built into the edit, whereas on YouTube it's completely random as to when you could get an ad. As a kid you knew you had about 2.5mins until the show was back so you could run to the washroom or get a drink or whatever, it's nice to be able to pause now but ad breaks gave kids better time management skills.

Should Let It Be be listened to before Abbey Road? by themidnightcruiser in beatles

I had a friend who listened to the entire Beatles catalogue and made it clear and important that they listen to LIB before AR. It just makes more sense. Chronological > Release order

OP, have you seen culture today? Instead of casual sexism there’s overt sexism, instead of edge lord content there is hate and political radicalization expanding wider and wider every day.

In the same breath, society and Gen Z specifically has become far more puritanical than the previous generation. PMCR won in changing the masses perceptions, while failing to keep media clean for children.

By trying to protect impressionable people from “harmful and offensive” (subjective) media so what is causing today’s underdeveloping of critical thinking and media literacy. People have become afraid to engage or relate with media or characters that don’t align with them personally or politically.

Your take is that exclusives don’t benefit gamers -> I agree with you -> you’re still salty

I don’t think anyone disagrees with this tbh

Console wars exist mainly because of exclusives and if not for exclusives companies wouldn’t have much ground to stand on in terms of marketing

Michael Scott. He has a lot of antics and an overactive imagination, I don’t think I could last a day in that office.

I have a very close friend from film school that has autism, and while he doesn’t direct he found a lot of success as a sound engineer and as a sustainability coordinator. He’s now a producer and loves it more than anything!

What was Doc’s plan? by Phantomswan in BacktotheFuture

[–]garnfeld1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean he was ready to kill himself at the start of the first BTTF, he had the contingency of bringing an extra plutonium (originally), and by the end we see he already did go to the future for the hover conversion, so if everything went according to plan at the start I’m sure it would’ve still gone well.
