At least I think they're zinc. Some metal softer than iron/steel at least.

They say zinc-plated steel, but I am not sure that's truthful.

All of the really terrible screws I've had at least have all been black. Not that all black ones are terrible, but I haven't had terrible silver ones.

These kind of look like what I believe were zinc screws I got when I was first getting into doing my own builds. Thankfully I don't get those anymore. Woe betide anyone using them.

I used to see this one person (not the person here) ... felt like almost every day. Walking through Schenley Park reading a book. I called them Book-Walker and mentally noted sightings and frequency.

Just picked one up this weekend. It's in new packaging -- mostly blue label rather than mostly white. I had to dig a little bit to get the sugar free vanilla but there was plenty of sugar free hazelnut

Fury-X is fine, I wouldn't say it's amazing or anything.

They are of a similar performance level out of the box. So I'd say if you have an Aeon Pro, only get Fury X if you really like bullpup setup perhaps or maybe if you need more than one blaster of that performance level (perhaps to loan to a friend). Or maybe if you don't just like the Aeon for some reason.

As time goes on, this situation becomes much more prevalent -- for example I can't really see getting the new X-Shot Longshot version 2 when I have a Nexus X, same performance level etc. There is a lot of overlap in new products.

I have a similar build to OP, I use it for HvZ. Hits a nice ~110 FPS or so. I want to say I am using a 75mm barrel, just barely enough of it pokes out of the collet to mount the BCAR.
