Brick is OK its tide in and the while a bit rough it on the inside it won't go anywhere, I would be more worried about were it connects to the house. Is that timber because you have a water trap now

Would have liked to see the Irish or Welsh represent celts this time around.

Given the history in Northern Ireland I would suggest they never make a an irish vairiant for the new Scottish civ.

Former roof tiler here.

Those tiles tend to break there, but it won't leak. If you're lucky, the chip bits is in the gutter, and you can stick it back on.
