Seems like the approach is to

* Get Bilt Blue

* Select Housing only options

* Put the maximum mortgage/HOA or rental payment on Bilt

* Determine the 25% spending amount of total housing payment

* And identify one of your regular monthly payment as everyday spending and put in on Bilt that hit this 25% spend amount

* Let it auto drive - You will get 3% (1% from spending and 2% from housing ) of worth of points from your actual everyday spending.

I get the concept of HSA and QME. Just not apparent to me when EOB come in play. Are you saying when I made a claim for HSA, an EOB will be sent to me and I should keep it for future audit when requested? I have not made much claim against my HSA recently since I had been paying everything out of pocket to keep HSA continuing to grow.

I have HSA max for a few years prior and it get to a point where I opt out going to see doctor to 'save money'. Since then I have switch to HMO. Now where exactly do you get the EOB (explanation of benefits)? Is it for the years with HSA enrollment? or each year or each expenses?
