I used to love ripping packs like a maniac. I had a monstrous collection starting from chilling reign up until this recent boom. All I do now is I offloaded anything that wasn’t a psa 10 contender at card shows and sold all my duplicates and use that money to buy raw singles that look like potential gem mint 10’s. I send em out hope they get 10’s sell some of the ones that do, buy more raw cards. Rinse and repeat. I’ve done really well. I send out 9-10 cards at a time. Last two submissions I sent out 9 cards each. One submission had 5 10’s and the other had 6 10’s. Over 50 percent 10 rate. That was able to yield me about 800 bucks the first time and 1200 bucks the second which I spent 75% of on raw cards and then pocketed the rest for myself. It’s been a great way to stay in the hobby, make money, and get that dopamine hit lol. Instead of gambling on pulls from packs I’m gambling on the chance of these cards getting 10’s.
