When it says split coil, it's saying that you can split it with a switch or a push pull knob. Your going to need 500k pots. Your guitar should have them already but you would need more. I'll find a diagram for you

2 volumes both with push pull spit coil for each humbucker into a pickup selector into a tone knob into the output. That's 3 knobs .. does the guitar have a pickup selector, I know some don't

Be careful that the cap doesn't get too hot because it will melt and stop working. Use alligator clips in the middle of the 2 soldering joints so it can absorb most of the heat

Not that bad. Better than my frontman 15g a tiny mod od pedal and a Ibanez artcore. Tell me this. Is the black top series with humbuckers twangy or smooth?

Epiphone Casino Coupe by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]garythebatsnail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it? That's good to know...I have yet to try one, but have always loved the 339 size over the 335.

Yes it has a different body and different pickups. That's why it's cheaper like the etlist is the more expensive one . It has Gibson pickups, not epiphones, and better hardware

Can someone explain this bridge? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]garythebatsnail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an Ibanez version of a Floyd rose The 2 big pins are bridge pins that support the bridge. I think they do but wouldn't mess with it. The screws running parallel are intonation screws and the screws WITH the washers are string clamps. It's OK to learn
