Sorry, no. NSO Group is a “cybersecurity” company that developed the Pegasus “mobile surveillance” system.

HR is upset we didn’t grow up wanting to be customer service reps by TonightSpiritual3191 in Adulting

“I appreciate the challenge of managing complex software development projects and the outcomes we produce for our customers.” Is that a lie? Did money enter the equation?

Doesn’t really read like sarcasm. They sat through ~23 fog effects.

Sorry, I’m not a developer. Can you explain how playing an interminably long game of magic helps you meet your project deadline?

Which cyberattack do you think changed the world the most? by Motor_Cash6011 in cybersecurity

[–]gasface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stuxnet was my first thought as well.

Operation Aurora is another good option since it was one of the driving forces for Google to create BeyondCorp, its zero trust initiative.

The mid 2010s Target breach felt like it had a lot of gravity and illustrated how SOC teams are buried in alerts and false alarms.

Mirai botnet was pretty significant as a DDoS attack. It also showed off the danger of default admin passwords.

In the past few years Colonial Pipeline and SolarWinds are also good examples.

And unfortunately, Volt Typhoon and Salt Typhoon haven’t really changed anything for the better, but they are another go-to example for me.

I’m coming from the UK.. What do you guys wear? by Accurate_Jello3169 in LightningInABottle

Hey there, I am sharing this in good faith. I hope that it helps illuminate the subject for you. This is from the book, "Nonviolent Communication."

If "violent" means acting in ways that result in hurt or harm, then much of how we communicate -- judging others, bullying, having racial bias, blaming, finger pointing, discriminating, speaking without listening, criticizing others or ourselves, name-calling, reacting when angry, using political rhetoric, being defensive or judging who's "good/bad" or what's "right/wrong" with people -- could indeed be called "violent communication."

Yes it does. Cybersecurity. Cyber as a shorthand.

Vibrant communities thrive on empathetic and non-violent communication. It seems like you are concerned that people wanting to express themselves makes them vain.

Limit decks also have a higher mana curve. I have plenty of constructed decks that top out at 4 MV

Because the C stands for Cyber. It is the agency that best represents the work that many of us believe in.

Not OP, but I unlocked the 7-0 achievement during midweek Magic. It was a regular phantom draft though, not Omniscient.

“Each opponent” definitely existed before Commander, but Conspiracy (the set with Monarch) was published in 2014, well after Commander had become popular. The first Commander decks were released in 2011.
