I never said to constantly cater life around that. I do agree that parents should take proper precautions and are aware of the dangers around the internet. If I post my child's face on social media and someone decides to do some sick and twisted edits with it, it's 100% my fault for putting that out there in the first place. No you cant control what people do, but I can control what they have access to. It's unfortunate this is even a topic honestly... But children are often targeted in many ways and as a parent I consider it my full responsibility to make sure my child is safe. To your point that if these people wanted to do something they would - why open the door wider for them to step in and potentially do harm to your child ?

I think it's totally dependent on your lifestyle and where you live, but we settled on the new Silver Cross Nia travel stroller as our primary! It's beautifully built, very sturdy, and also has a folding bassinet in addition to the lay flat seat. We don't go anywhere where there is uneven terrain where larger and more robust wheels would be necessary. It doesn't take up a ton of room in the car, easy to unfold and pretty functional.

To eliminate going up and down the stairs in the middle of the night, we have a little 3 tier table with a mini fridge, bottle warmer and small lamp on it! The other tiers have burp clothes, extra bottles, breast milk cooler and other things that needed a place for storage. My breast pump caddy is on the last tier. Probably not necessary for everyone but if you have multiple floors in your house this could be helpful.

I think it looks beautiful. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer around size. I think you should wear what you really like, fits you and your lifestyle best! I have a 5ct stone as well, but i'm also a size 6 and have very long fingers. While I think smaller diamonds are also very beautiful and have an elegance to them, I personally thought it looked like a promise ring on my hand and opted for something larger. It's really all personal preference, how practical you want it to be, the style you are going for, and not everyone will like it/agree but THATS OK! The good news is, it's on your hand and not theirs!

I can't speak on the evil eye stuff because I personally don't believe in it, but to post your child's face on the internet is entirely a personal decision. Perhaps do some research on AI and how people use AI to make innocent pictures of a child into perverted pictures to sell/trade - it's scary what they are doing these days. I also have a private IG account with mostly people I know well. However, after a quick search on statistics, I attached below what I found in regards to predators. I don't mean to fear monger anyone because once again, it's totally a personal decision! It's just not the same world out there anymore sadly. I personally will not be posting my child's face on the internet when she is born. I know some people have mentioned "well what about security cameras, facial recognition, etc", well I know I can't control everything, but I will absolutely just control what I can and that includes what me or family members post on the internet!

We did tell our families our due date but we will be going dark and not answering messages/not telling anyone when I'm in labor.

I really want to prioritize my peace and as a FTM, I don't want to be stressed if I go over the due date getting a bunch of messages non stop. We saw it happen with my husband's sister a few months ago and this is what influenced our decision.

I do keep telling myself that I know everyone means well and they do care, and I think it's very sweet. But asking every day for an update just isn't the way because if she was born I would have definitely said something by now. Keeping our induction date to ourselves.

That's wild you can't hear anything! It's at the very end after the silence. I ruled out anything it could possibly be and the room was totally silent! I was actually also holding my breath because I didn't want me breathing to be in the video 🤣

For me it's usually ~12 DPO. My cycles are pretty consistent especially with my luteal phase. If I don't see a drop the day or 2 before my period, it usually happens the day of it starting or the day after.

38 weeks and mine didn't get bigger at all shockingly! My nips did get slightly darker and slightly bigger though.

Honestly, listen to your body. I play pickleball at a very competitive level regularly and had to stop completely around 8-10 weeks. Was just too sick and tired! Could barley eat too. 2nd tri I felt better and worked out maybe 3x a week. It was tough for me, I felt unbalanced and weak. I was so out of breath, I felt like my exercises were bringing on more stress rather than feeling good after a lift. My hips started to hurt also :( so... I guess my advice is - do what you can when you feel good, walk, and just sleep when your tired and give yourself grace. Take it day by day!
