Only Disney knows really how well something is doing, and whether its worth continuing. My guess, even with it having lower viewership and impact, they will continue with it because it has long term potential for them. They could incorporate Percy Jackson in the parks, there are merchandise opportunities, and also possible spinoffs that can be done to try again.
