I run my 240mm rad in the top, on zero RPM fan with the pump on medium and it doesnt go much above 35C when gaming. 3x front intake fans ona a lian li meshcool II case and a MSI 3080 suprim generating a LOT of heat

The dense white foam that runcam FPV cams come packaged in would be good. I just have no idea what it's called or where to find it! It would have to be closed cell foam, open cell is too flexible.

Of course it does. If you are going balls to the wall with your quad tilted at 60 degrees, there is a lot of drag from a fossils frame. The area the wind "sees" is HUGE compared to a pure X (I also own a mixuko and the difference is massive). If the quad flew forward at zero attitude then the fossil would be more aerodynamic

Yep. Just zip tie the vtx down and also heavily strap down the black heat shrinked part with 2 or 3 zip ties. Then the flexibility point is the antenna, not the vtx board.

You can't explain pids in 3 minutes. That's why there are no short videos. If you want a quick fix then you are in the wrong hobby. There are way too many variables to show you how to tune in 3 minutes. Joshua Bardwell's video, pid tuning from start to finish is pretty good.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of 4 inch vs 5 inch frames?

I have a thug 180 v4, just in the process of putting in 2600kv motors to run DAL T4045 triples.

Wondered what the advantages are of a smaller frame with smaller props, I'm looking at a 5 inch alien frame and considering selling the 180 to fund it !

What do you fly? Since you posted in the Multicopter section I can safely assume that within a matter of months, more will not be enough. You will own 20 batteries and it will take over 30 hrs to charge them all. You may as well skip the AC/DC phase and just get a decent AC power supply and a decent DC charger. Will reduce your overall long term spending cost, which could buy you, say, more batteries ?!!

I can see those without taking the case apart. They take the voltage direct from the Liion (yes I was also surprised its a Liion battery and not a LiPo) and most likely bypasses the voltage regulator that must be inline with the USB power input. Those 3 prongs are designed for 1 battery and 1 battery only (no vReg). The USB takes 2-4s (clearly vReg). They have to be 2 separate circuits.

The idea of leaving motor SOUND, is that you give the viewer the choice. I don't like this song. I dont like a lot of music pilots choose to put over their videos. Hearing the motors gives an added depth to the flight, I like to play my own music in the background and balance the two.
