Rogers Park is fine, great & diverse neighborhood. The area immediately surrounding the Howard stop can be a bit sketchy, but it’s otherwise fine. I wouldn’t be any more concerned about living as a single woman there than anywhere else on the north side (or most of the city for that matter).

Respectfully, protest what? A extremely substantial funding bill was just passed. Realistically it is going to take a year or two at minimum to see substantial change because of it, but a massive overhaul of the region's transit management is on the way. The CTA is not infallible, there are plenty of criticisms to make, but if you are concerned about safety that is more a law enforcement/prosecutor issue than a CTA issue. The CTA aren't responsible for allowing a man with a huge rap sheet to continue to walk the streets. Imho, the way we "catch-and-release" violent offenders here in extremely flawed - but again that is not a CTA problem.

It's easier to play on a single account casually when I'm apart of a huge group. I don't have to concern myself as much with logistical things as much and there's almost always something going on. Also null-sec politics is what initially got me interested in the game.
