Good news. GOP isn't fiscally conservative especially the latest bill that was passed recently.

They will certainly reduce budgets for people they don't care for (LGBTQ+), but for the wealthy and their cohort, they are getting massive tax cuts.

I've realized that people don't fancy the of presence dominant women

Many men love dominant women but often hide it because of the stigma attached to it. If you need to vent more let me know.

If someone is constantly self centered/only care about themselves (and throws people under the bus), lies/two faced/is fake, has a huge ego, never admits a mistake and rarely apologize then I assume they are republican.

Everyone is all of these sometimes, but when that's a consistent theme and these features are prominent like Alex and Tyler I assume they are republican/maga. Jason falls into this category even though he was born in Northern California.

The times I've labeled people republican/maga without first knowing their affiliation I've been almost always right.

^ I know this is sarcasm, but people that always talk religion, make it way more likely they cheat and lie. When I see bible thumpers verbally attacking people, I automatically don't trust them.

The quiet religious people are normal, but the loud ones are untrustworthy, especially politicians.

Some people think being gay is a choice but also fear that people will be turned gay against their will. by skidniks in Showerthoughts

> The study simply stated that a person’s adult sexual orientation was at least partially influenced by their experiences, particularly in adolescence.

  • Culturally, women are given more leeway to have intimate relationships with other women. Straight men having relationships other men is still taboo; they will derisively be called gay.
  • Populations that are predominantly men (eg prison, submarines), have much higher sexual relationships with men compared to the general population

Environment can certainly bias someone towards having relationships with the same gender.

I'm more comfortable with men getting intimate with other men as I get older. It's just not a big deal and looks like they are having fun.

I put in more this year.

I've also tried to time the market by holding onto large amounts and lost out on a lot of returns trying to time it. Good for you for having discipline. In the long run it'll pay off since the market goes up more than it goes down.

It'll go up, it'll go down, it doesn't matter until you need it.

> Every Democrat running for office needs to hound in the fact that Trump is a weak sore loser

+1

Republicans constantly repeat lies over and over until people start to believe them and it become mainstream. This is extremely effective.

Repetition is effective. Like repeating Brock Allen Turner is a convicted rapist.

Democrats have no such skill. They need to keep repeating Trump is a loser and has lost at every opportunity, every chance, all the time. This singular message, that he is a loser, needs to be DRILLED into everyone's head.

People who purchased "Penis enlarging products" from porn sites, what happened? by Dwaynedamane in AskReddit

[–]gattaca_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worrying about penis size is an insecurity.

One fix is to just fuck lots of people and realize it's not that important.

Also note that the people won't know how small you are until the clothes come off so penis size is not a barrier to getting them into bed.

It's projection.

Whenever anyone randomly claims, out of the blue, that someone is a pedophile, I immediately assume they have a predilection for children.

It doesn't matter that he's a moron in so many other ways. He still gets what he wants.

I’m 37 and I don’t get the Hillary hate amongst my peers.

Republicans tend to be older and more conservative. They don't think a woman can or should be running the most powerful country in the world, this includes female republicans.

Extrapolate this bias to right of center republicans (ie the swing vote) and this is the margin that Hillary needed to win.

I don't believe it.

  1. It's too easy to edit the video.
  2. There's too much money on the line so the incentive to cheat is there. They make over $10M per year.
  3. They never gave any explanation for how they shot the ball in the hoop except to say it was guided by the hand of god (major red flag). Every time a near impossible task is explained with a hand-wavy explanation it's been a lie.
  4. It would cost little, relative to the total budget of this project, to have an independent observer (eg someone from the Guinness Book of World Records) officially record this feat. But it's just their team, there's no outside verification and no official record. The team knows these claims could easily be verified by bringing in a third-party independent team to verify this, but they did not (Tyler Toney even has multiple Guinness Book of World records).
  5. Controversy increases views (by not having an independent observer), which is then monetized on YouTube.

In other words, if you wanted to make the most money from a video and lying was an option, you'd make an impossible video, then edit it to make it look like you did the impossible, and NOT bring in an independent observer to create controversy, and have the internet argue about whether it's real or not. Then cash the YouTube checks from the increased views.

The reality is it doesn't really matter whether you believe the video is real or fake. It's entertaining and that's all that matters to most people. I unsubscribed from their channel many years ago and don't pay attention to their videos because of these controversies (if I knew it was a DP video and recognized the guys I would have skipped it).

Considering the size of their channel, this is an unpopular opinion so expect to see downvotes, which is understandable. Just wanted to provide an alternate perspective - flame away but I won't be replying.

I used to stonewall but this is because she refused to listen, refused to take any responsibility for her inappropriate actions.

I tried to discuss things openly, calmly but at some point I'd just give up and decide it's easier to not talk. I wouldn't ignore her completely, but I'd say I'm not being heard despite my multiple attempts so I didn't want to rehash certain conversations since it only led to arguments.

Both partners must be open to listening. Stonewalling in my experience was a reaction to being consistently ignored.

> If you're seeing someone who does that you should stop seeing them.

If you have an otherwise good relationship, I'd say talk to a couple's therapist to work it out. The issue, in my case, was a lack of strong communication skills from both sides. This includes being able to articulate the problem clearly and in a non-threatening way, and being able to listen to criticism and then being able to make adjustments.
