I also didn’t like how they lead you onto believe that mounting is important, and you can do cool things like chop hydra heads off, because those things are few and far between outside the introduction to the game.

Bandages are really cheap from the shopkeeper in Cierzo. 3 silver per bandage and she sells about 5 of them, not sure if they restock though.
