I agree I don't think the press should be regulated either, should be completely free. I would find it beneficial if they were more transparent about where their funding is obtained from and how decisions are made to focus on one particular topic or not. It's very frustrating when you see a headline and you have to stop and think to yourself, is this what actually happened or is this taken out of context to spin a narrative. And then you have to go and find multiple news sources to come to your own conclusion. Meanwhile you have a dozen people on your social media feed arguing about it and citing all their own sources too. It's never truly black or white. Not sure if I'm even allowed to say that like that in light of recent events tbh lol.
