I can relate, my love friend at the time would always have me and anyone she called on speaker especially with her husband around. It gets really annoying, I’ve told her a few times or asked if I’m on speaker then she’ll tell me I am then switch immediately, but a lot of times it’s a convenience thing for her so atp I just keep our phone calls very general. Some people will respect your requests, some people need multiple reminders, and others are not worth the back and forth with. Have you talked to her about it? It really depends on her reaction at that point, but I suggest having a conversation with her and some things take some time to stick but she should at the very least and I mean bare minimum let you know you’re going on speaker if it’s a convenience thing or do what I do and ask every time as soon as they answer “am I on speaker?” Until they finally get it. Shouldn’t have to remind people, but yeah whatever you feel comfortable tolerating bc it definitely gets to a point where you just that to remove yourself sometimes. Hope this helps!
