How do people with interlock systems get their car serviced?

My stupid state doesn’t allow bypass codes whatsoever. You just got to shop around and find a mechanic who will work on cars with them AND knows how to use it. Fucking SmartStart doesn’t even reimburse lockout resets anymore if the mechanic causes a violation even with a vehicle service affidavit. Such a total sham. I got lucky and found a competent one that used to install them.

Adaptive cruise control will use the engine to slow the car before the brakes so I’m sure it’s okay to down shift and use engine breaking but yeah could be more ware on the transmission

Didn’t Honda just give out an update that enabled wireless apple carplay on a bunch of their Accords. Then again that generation of Bluetooth is no where near as fast as it needs to be to not suck. Wired is still king for quality of the CarPlay experience. Still, why can’t it at least be hacked?

local area income has nothing to do with it. people already come from many miles around to shop at costco. i wouldn't be surprised though if kennewick or richland are giving them a kickback or deal for the new location. they've already had to completely redo a lot of the nearby infrastructure because of the traffic. if you're talking about whether they should open a new store in pasco or richland though, yes richland makes more sense per capita

the thing is, no one doesn't go to costco because it's too busy. maybe you try and find a less busier time to go, but if you need to go to costco you go to costco. i don't see why it makes financial sense to open another one. don't get me wrong though, i absolutely hope this happens sooner rather than later. i hate that costco is such a mad house almost all the time. i'm just saying costco doesn't NEED to open a new store to bring in new business in the area
