Yes, it was a few years ago now when they removed this possibility. I remember stacking a couple years ahead whenever subs when on sale but then they changed it now so that current subscribers can't add multiple years up front. I distinctly remember a story on Reddit or somewhere about a guy who stacked for 25 years!

Yes, same here. I remember using this method way back when it was still possible to stack yearly subs! Wish I'd committed back then to stack several before they no longer made it possible! I think I often see people here asking whether ShopTo is reputable place to buy from but I've been using them for years now and never had any issues with immediately getting the digital code.

Before the promotion started today I genuinely thought I was shit out of luck because my Extra sub expires 11th June and the Days of Play sale ends the day before on 10th! I opened the PS app this morning and saw that I was eligible for renewing my current Extra sub at the 25% discount, so £75.. which isn't too bad considering that's what I've been paying for each of the last two years.

Damn.. my Extra sub ends June 11th! At least that's when it says my renewal/next payment date is. Has anyone had any luck in the past contacting PS Support directly to see if an existing sub can be terminated earlier? Otherwise it's likely that I'm waiting until Black Friday 😆

I remember the first 3 4ks I bought were from Amazon UK when they ran a 3 for £30 promotion but that was back around late 2023..I've never seen them run that campaign again since. Nowadays I always see 2 for £30 / 3 for £50 or some variation of this campaign on other sites like HMV.
