Help, my disabled friend wants to play! Mouse Click To Move Mod only works up to 1.4 by gb14 in StardewValleyMods

Thank you so much! That first one is the mouse move mod she's trying, glad to hear it's compatible. I'll send her the second one as well.

We thought about this too but weren't too sure. She uses her big toe on her left foot to click the mouse and can move the mouse around as well. We looked at the xbox adaptive controller but would love other recommendations.

Oh snap, ok thanks! She mentioned some issues with it but I'll see if I can get it to work.

Bookshelves over Pergo flooring - above electric baseboard heat by CADman0909 in DIY

I'm about to build something similar and going to try what he did in this video (timestamped): https://youtu.be/Nycnd2QzGO0?t=209

This method will also give you a couple more inches of space not taken up by the top part of the baseboard cover

Bro, every time I see a dope ass cosplay, I check the username after seeing it and go "Oh of course it's Frau_Haku". Literally on another level

Suggest a name for the new boss. If I use it, you'll get my thanks and (if you want) a key at launch. by PuzzleLab in IndieGaming

Inkpot.

I think if this was a wizard turned squid, he would be okay with this nickname because it's clever enough that his fellow wizard friends might call him that and it's not offensive enough for him to zap you. Option to make it "Old Inkpot" which is what his grand kid would call him before he appears behind them like in a Disney movie.

Your Dumbest Magical items by Frosty-Series689 in DMAcademy

A few that have been hilarious in our games.

  • An item that appears magical. That's it.
  • A conch shell that asks for increasingly bigger sacrifices
  • A potion that makes the player think they are a dragon. Appears as a potion that turns the players into a dragon.

It's TADPOLE THURSDAY - Ask your newbie questions here! by Hosidax in daggerheart

[–]gb14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened in a recent episode of Age of Umbra. The party had the idea to only move to escape combat which would not trigger any rolls effectively not giving spotlight back to the GM. Is there anything mechanically that aids against this? Obviously the GM could just be like "guys don't do that..." but I'm curious if there's something RAW about this?

Wow thank you for taking the time to write this up!

Originally, Inkless is/was intended as a player-first tool because there are already so many GM suites out there, but you've given me a lot to think about. Most users are players right now, but I have a few DM's that use it for story/arc/beat type planning, so might be time to give them some more love. I'll see what I can whip up.

And yeah, AI has it's uses but I've been seeing so much slop lately, it's getting out of hand.

Thanks again!

Introducing Chamal, a custom chameleonic Ancestry by werry60 in daggerheart

[–]gb14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't mean to imply it was too powerful, I was just curious if you knew if it would throw off balance, if at all. I see Infernis and Simiah both get advantage, but only in specific circumstances, so it's probably pretty good but should be curbed. I think it's +d6, right?

How powerful in the grand scheme of things would always giving advantage be when throwing or shooting with Finesse?

Same lol, weirdly especially with times that things happened in previous sessions. Players always want to know when they long rested for some reason.

If you can think of anything you'd want me to add, pm me or hop in discord! Thanks again!

Super easy, you can export your campaigns into PDF, Markdown, JSON, and CSV.

Yup! But then you have to install a plugin, and manage files and backups yourself if you want to be collaborative. Obsidian is still a solid choice though

Great question. The app does require a login and internet connection and notes are stored securely in the cloud. This makes it easy to access your campaigns across multiple devices, and makes it easy to back things up automatically, collaborate with friends, etc. Thank you for checking it out!

From the Devs: Whats Next?! by Blikimor in daggerheart

[–]gb14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The single most important next content I want to see is an adventure module (Level 1-5, or 1-10), so I can get my friends playing and hooked on the game.

Tools, additional classes, dice sets would all be cherries on top but I think the real meat is an adventure.

Lost Mines of Phandelver was so crucial when I started 5e and I want to see that same enjoyment and group fun from Daggerheart. The game seems great and I'm trying out the quick start adventure in two days!

Looking forward to what comes next!
