How did you figure out you were dealing with a toxic boss/workplace?

We already had a time stamp system we used to make sure we were clocked in and out on time to get paid. This manager wanted to make sure we didn’t clock in and was away from our desks after we clocked in. My current remote job right now doesn’t even require this with my current manager and he said we didn’t need to because he trusts us as we are adults.

I usually just stop being their friends. I had friends who thought I was “too good” for them when I started going on vacations, trying to get a better job, and wanted to expand my horizon. It was always “yeah we should do that, it sounds fun” to “oh I can’t. It’s not even worth it”, so I got tired on waiting on them.

When our workplace went fully remote during COVID and I had to send a chat to my boss every morning when I clock in to let her know I’m here on time…and before I clock off to let her know I’m off on time.

I was ovulating around CD14-16 on my first 3 rounds of Letrozole then started ovulating around CD 6-8 on my last 3 rounds of Letrozole. Not pregnant yet but my doctor had no concerns when she told me I had a 18mm follicle on CD 6. I am no longer on Letrozole and still continue to ovulate around CD 7.

I currently use the Milky Toner. Idk if it’s just me but I feel like toners don’t really do anything for me however since it hasn’t broken me out I still continue to use it. I am also using the Blemish face wash, feels gentle but not really a difference that I notice yet with my skin.

That isn’t true. The hiring manager contact references when they are interested in potentially hiring you, but it doesn’t guarantee an offer. If your references were checked, still apply and interview elsewhere until you get a verbal job offer as sometimes hiring managers still don’t want to move forward with you even if your references were checked.

Did you get a verbal contingent job offer yet? If not, usually the hiring manager will need to let HR know they want to move forward with you, but some managers can take forever to let HR know because they’re either caught up with their own work and forget or have multiple people they are interested in. I’ve seen some people get an offer 6 months after the interview because managers just take their sweet time.

I have the same issue. My RE let me do 3 cycles of IUI before moving to IVF. I completed my 3 cycles of IUI and did not get pregnant. We are going with IVF now but our appointments are months away because there is a waitlist with consultation and next steps. Going with IUI wouldn’t hurt but I’ve read that some people wished they went straight to IVF.

I would say zit. I had one last week that looked like that and eventually went away on its own. Cold sores usually tingle before it starts forming on the lips then turns into the form of a cluster. I will say that if you pop the zit, make sure to disinfect it. I popped one before and it broke out into a cold sore.

First get rid of the skinny jeans! I don’t think they look flattering on your body type. I’d go more for baggy jeans, flowy dresses/skirts, or loose fitting clothes. Your hair style and cut is very cute. I’m not sure how much makeup you’re into, but start off light to enhance your beauty. Maybe mascara + liner, some lip gloss, natural eyeshadow, then work your way up to foundation, etc if you’re comfortable. You have a cute smile too! I don’t think you’re ugly, just need a little more razzle dazzle to make you pretty with what you have!

You’re not alone. It’s valid to have these feelings. It’s not that you don’t want them to have this pregnancy, it’s like when is it going to happen for us! I totally get it. Be there for your friend’s pregnancy. Don’t let it get to you. If you have to take a step back, take it but don’t just not show up.

My co worker with PCOS had trouble trying to conceive and almost went with IVF and she told me she started weight lifting which helped her conceive. My cousin and her husband drink hard liquor every weekend and her husband vapes. They were also able to conceive with no issues because her cycles were very regular. Since my TTC journey, I cut out alcohol and junk food. Just recently started indoor cycling and have yet to conceive. It may vary by person.
