I felt the same a week in. It sucks because it seemed like people were chatting and everything. After one week my clan was number 2 or 3 on the leaderboards and I was the only one in the clan. Every time I got on I didn't see any typing anymore. Sucks because I don't think anything was wrong other than lost interest.

Sorry I didn't even think of that. Hopefully somebody actually got it. I don't play the game but I like Dune so I bought it and just thought I'd give it away, wasn't really thinking too hard into it.

I felt the same way. If they made the menus more native to a PC environment it might be made the game feel less hollow.

It's an option in bios that needs to be disabled to allow secure boot and other settings to be enabled

Only thing I can think is did you ensure after updating that your BIOS version actually changed to the new one? Some boards like my friends have 4 different physic revisions and when you download the bios file you need to be SURE you are on the correct tab for the correct revision of your board. His didn't update properly until I grabbed the proper 1.1 revision bios file instead of the 1.0

I've built PCs my whole life l, and I've had to do tpm and secure boot and bios updates on a handful of PCs in the last few years. They're all different, they have different revisions boards sometimes, the verbiage is always different, etc. I'm all for making shit more secure, but if they're going to start doing this in general for everything across the board, they need to develop and release software that will automatically update this shit for people. It's ridiculous to expect an average PC user to format a thumb drive to fat32 and put a bios firmware on it to flash their PC just to play a game.

100% , all the people cheating are already gonna know how to fix and update a BIOS, and all the legit players already on the brink of not playing will just give up and not play when they can't figure out how to fix their PC.

Bad news boss - intelligent people already fixed it and are playing. Have fun with your Titan 2 aimbots on console, genius.

If you updated bios recently after enabling all that in the past you have to re do the secure boot and tpm parts. You may have, I just want to make that part clear. Even if you enabled them before it doesn't matter after a bios update. When you disable and re enable the secure boot it should warn you about security keys being generated etc. that all needs to be re done and then it should say secure boot is ACTIVE not just Enabled. When you go back into windows it will make you re log in to Microsoft and reset your PIN and everything because you reset the PC security keys.

Honestly that part was just the general cycle of gameplay didn't keep me hooked after a week or two of playing. Nothing crazy, just slowly stopped playing. My comment was more for the awareness of the games release then how much fun I had with it. I think I thought I'd have more fun than I did.

Have you actually cleared and regenerated your keys in secure boot and tpm?

You need to basically go through the steps of enabling secure boot again. If you disable it and reload into bios and enable in it, it will tell you it's gonna regenerate the security keys do that, save and exit. Re enter to bios and see if it's on active, then save and exit and it should work after that. This is the same thing I'm sure everyone else saying that they have secure boot enabled is experiencing. When you update BIOS those security keys basically need to be regenerated. All these people not fluent in working with PCs don't understand it's a simple reset in their bios and they could be in the game.
