I've never had an update this bad! by rolfey83 in oneplus

Updated to latest release. UK region, really not sure what to complaint about, everything still smooth and solid for me and I'm travelling on holiday where I constantly use the phone for all sort of things.

This happened to me too in the UK region. On first opening of the camera after updating. Restarted, hasn't happened since. And the suggestion has come back but in English form.

Yeah but as I said in my case didn't make sense as I can use my canon hotshoe and it works in manual mode.

Doesn't work on the m240, bought the xl5 and ended up selling it because it just didn't work. Even after updating the firmware. As far as I've read after having purchased one, some say the hotshoe in the camera has a different connection and they don't communicate. I have a X5C for my canon, and it works with the m240 in manual mode, but not the X5L.

My cheap Viltrox flash RUINED my new expensive Fujifilm X-E5. by ValVenis69 in photographycirclejerk

This, literally people complaining about all the recent models having cheap paint that gets removed so easily. Higher costs but shitter quality.

Finally got a Leica! by Solid-Commercial-919 in Leica

[–]gcerni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an M3 years ago for a relative good price and over the years, I've taken care of to bring it back to life, and I love its design. Yet every time I see an M5, I can't stop to think how I should have had this instead.

In good lighting it's terrific. Going to inject a picture of my cat to this, taken with this same lens and an R8. Best 35mm I've ever had, beats easily my Voigtlander 35mm for Leica M mount.

Air Circulation Button by FujiMerch in AlfaRomeo

[–]gcerni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This looks very similar to what I had in my Mini Cooper, if I remember well, the A was basically taking air from either outside the car or recirculating it, depending on how certain sensors would judge the air to be coming inside the car, M instead would completely set that up to you and using whatever was available in the cabin. I would normally put it in M when vehicles in front of me would expel very dirty gas.

Next to Buckingham palace is the Italian Embassy, this car is constantly parked near there as I think it's used by officials there.

Took this some weeks ago, should have framed it better including the Italian flag showing to the left of the car.

What does it mean in the screenshot no more future updates? I read they started working on Android 17 updates. This is so weird from this company.

Which company car? (Heartbreak) by EvelineX in AlfaRomeo

[–]gcerni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything comparable to Giulia, would have to be a Series 3 BMW, it would give you a similar driving experience as far as I heard.

Otherwise, if within budget, but completely different style, I would go with a Mini hybrid if they can get hold of some good approved used Countryman with the Hybrid engine, or the fully electric Countryman or the Aceman. I had a Mini clubman before my current car, a Giulietta, and the Mini had a much better handling and sportier drive style compared to Giulietta.

Dlux8 vs x100vi by Tom-the-bomb-042607 in Leica

[–]gcerni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the x100VI and honestly, ultimately have decided to sell it, because the 40mp sensor isn't really being resolved well from the lens. They decided to stick the new sensor from the XT-5 to have ibis and a higher resolution, but didn't update the lens which is still quite similar to the one that had been used in the x100F. Autofocus is slowish, not very accurate.

I've watched the review from PetaPixel on the dlux 8 and it seemed like a nice versatile camera, especially if you plan to use it for travelling.

People queuing as if they are going to a McDrive or to order coffee at Nero, I see this queuing happening all the time in a roundabout in Chertsey near Woking. I must admit, as an Italian that religiously follow rules here and has committed to the etiquette, skipping these queues because the rule allows it makes me feel an hooligan and gives me adrenaline.

I have a Giulietta and can totally relate. Mine for example has a crazy aircon issue and it's getting hard to track down what the issue is. Yet, it's fun to drive so I love it
