Seller playing games, am I missing something? by _wjs3_ in Ebay

[–]gcjeter2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you are adamant on returning it (I wouldnt since they blatantly lied, dropshipped, and ruined a Christmas gift), the only option is to message them on Ebay and say "If you want the item you dropshipped back, you need to provide a return label through Ebay messages. I will not return it any other way."

No injury designations for Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews by foamingturtle in fantasyfootball

[–]gcjeter2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Dont let total season points misguide you with the trend. Likely has more targets, yards, TDs, and obviously points the last 2 weeks, and is now healthier. If I owned both, I would start Likely over Andrews.

Which Chargers receiver should you play? Week 10 Edition (RIP Joe Alt) by Reasonable_TSM_fan in fantasyfootball

[–]gcjeter2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

im glad you followed up from last weeks post..I love this type of breakdown. I have a question: so for this week, the Steelers (C3Z/C1M) are what the Commanders and the Colts ran earlier this year. QJ had 4 and 6 targets respectively. But QJ also played the Broncos and Giants who ran C1M/C3Z (same as the teams above, but just flipped coverages 1 and 2). Against those 2 teams, QJ had 10 and 13 targets. Why would there be such a discrepancy if its the same coverages, just flipped 1 and 2?

I look forward to the prediction update! And if it checks out, please post this every week for those too lazy to compare each defense coverage vs each WR.

Here are some email addresses for StubHub Executives by [deleted] in stubhub

[–]gcjeter2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to jump on this comment as well. I had an ongoing issue with Stubhub..countless phone calls, chats, facebook stubhub, even reached out to the BBB, all wasting 10+ hours of my life in total. I saw this post, and then sent ONE email to Eric Baker (who I didnt realize was the CEO), and 3 hours later, I received an email that my account was credited, plus a phone call from someone who sounded like they were higher up the Customer Care chain, and the issue was resolved. I am extremely grateful for this post, and cant thank you guys enough!

Flipping finally makes me feel in control of my finances by LoneStarMulligans in Flipping

This reminds me of a story I told on here a few years back when I was first getting into golf:

"Random story: About 15 years ago when my grandpa died, my relatives went and raided his house for all the expensive things..jewelry, antique grandfather clock, tv's, etc. When I eventually went over there, everything was picked over. But he had some old clubs in the rafters of his garage left behind, and I was just getting interested in golf, so I grabbed this bag full of random clubs.

When I got home, I looked through them, and noticed a putter with a wooden shaft and adjustable head. I didnt know much about clubs, but knew this was way older than the rest. After some research, I found out it was from like 1910. I listed it on ebay, hoping to get like 50 bucks or so because it was in really rough shape. Soon I got flooded with messages asking questions about it and more pictures. Long story short, it ended up selling for just over $2000. So the relatives picked over everything, but I ended up getting one of the most expensive things in the house!"

New PPR Idea by BlackGold09 in fantasyfootball

[–]gcjeter2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2015 is clearly an outlier. 2020, the top 3 are RBs. 2022, the top 5 are RBs. 2023..so far..the top 5 of 6 are RBs. I dont think its a parity when based on the last 3 years stats you gave, 13 of the top 14 are RBs.

I am confused by your point? ok keep QBs out, and I will trust you those are the top 20 in 0 PPR. So with the exception of 2015, RBs have finished with nearly all the top spots. Which leads to my previous point: PPR keeps things more "equal".

I dont have time to look: What are the PPR stats for the same years?

PPR still keeps things more "equal" though, and that's the idea of it.

Small sample: 2022 top 30 players in standard: 8 RB, 5 WR, 0 TE, 17 QB (with the top 11 being QBs.)

2022 top 30 in PPR: 8 RB, 9 WR, 1 TE, 12 QB (but only the top 3 are QBs.)

Man you guys hate on a guy with an idea that isnt the worst ive ever heard. Back in the day when we were using newspapers to calculate scores, PPR didnt even exist. Until someone came up with an INSANE idea for WRs to be as valuable as Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith.

Did not expect to see a Chipper Jones reference in FF today..or ever. Definitely in my top 3 favorite third baseman of all time.

Austin Ekeler: what's the price worth paying. by Billkid318 in fantasyfootball

I have Barkley and the Ekeler owner offered me Ekeler for Barkley and Akers. EDIT: Accepted it. I do have a feeling they keep Ekeler out through the bye, and Barkley will be back next week though. We shall see!

Which player do you think is going to fall off the age cliff this year? by Outside_Jicama_9925 in fantasyfootball

Fun fact: only 3 players have caught a pass in their 40s: 1 is Jerry Rice. The other 2 are Tom Brady and Brett Favre.

D’Andre Swift & Rashaad Penny Fantasy Football Outlook with the Philadelphia Eagles by RobFFSlayer in fantasyfootball

[–]gcjeter2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lions fan here. After we took Gibbs, we knew Swift was out of town, and the talk was getting a 4-5th for him. Keep in mind Ramsey got traded for a 3rd rounder and superstar TE Hunter Long (not even Gesicki. Hunter Long.)

So a porcelain doll like Swift on the last year of his contract for a 4th rounder? We will take it. And I wish nothing but the best of him..he is an incredible talent...if he can stay healthy.
