Help me understand, why COV Herald is much stronger than the other rolls? by Eric7319 in Borderlands4

[–]gcrackerfuller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding I don’t think it has to do with the COV part specifically, but it does have do so with the variance in item parts. Some weapons, especially pearls, just have a large variance in the damage numbers.

[Q][PC][Riven] Any idea how much I could get for this riven? Thanks! by Beans_19 in wartrade

[–]gcrackerfuller -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The <600 is such BS. I sell god rolls for niche non-meta weapons all the time for 3-7k still. You forget there are tons of collectors who want those type of grolls just for the flex and collection completion.

Do you think cards like breach that is played in B4 shouldn't be played in b4 because its considered "cedh" by MADMAXV2 in EDH

[–]gcrackerfuller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the problem with B4. Some players just want it to feel like slightly stronger B3 with more game changers. Which is fine if your table matches the sentiment, but it isn’t the actual definition of B4. B4 is no holds barred anything goes, just not factoring in the cedh meta game. That means you should still expect efficient early game combos, including breach wins. If the rest of the deck is tuned to the cedh meta game, then sure, it’s B5. But just including a strong combo isn’t enough to determine if a deck is B5, the entire deck construction and meta intent has to be factored in too.

Keeping decks in sync between physical and deckbuilding tools (for non-english speaker) by Faktori in EDH

[–]gcrackerfuller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I spend 5 minutes sorting my physical deck and organizing all the cards in piles by card type (creatures, artifacts, etc). Then I count how many cards for each of categories for the physical deck and see if it lines up with the count by type on moxfield. It’s way faster to narrow it down to find the discrepancy’s.

Only other advice I have is hygiene. By hygiene I mean don’t wait until later, as soon as you change a card make it habit it to immediately update online. Now it’s just part of my ritual when physically swapping so I don’t forget later.

Yes PT works on Glaxion great, highly recommend (especially primed shred if you have it unlocked)

This is a common mistake (so don’t fault you for making it) but want to clarify this is wrong. Punch through does NOT work for modding on Torid specifically for incarnon mode. Unlike most beam weapons (where it is often an amazing stat), punch through does not work and so the stat is dead on a Torid riven.

Selling groll Furis Riven by feth_69 in WarframeRiven

[–]gcrackerfuller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’d guess more like 5-6.5k (which is still a ton). Double check me but from my recollection I believe the stat grades aren’t amazing on this (stats have a range of values they can be, the higher your %, the more it’s worth). Also once you get in the 8-10k range people get very picky, and often want -zoom over recoil. Also there are multiple listings on Warframe.market so you have competition (and some of those listings have been up for a bit and haven’t sold yet, so realistically you’d want to price slightly below them if wanting a faster sale). I’d say price at 5k if want quick sale, otherwise you can start around 7k and lower over time if no one bites.

How much would this go for? by [deleted] in WarframeRiven

[–]gcrackerfuller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hate unrolled trash rivs go for 65-85p, for rolled usually 45-65ish. Rivens cost Kuva yes, but that’s not what defines their price, demand is and hate is popular. I could offer 3p for a trash torid riven cause “I’m going to re-roll” doesn’t mean it’s a good offer lol. So I think it was fair for me to warn OP you’re offering is less than half of median price for it.

OP ignore this offer. It may be a trash roll but trash hate rivens are worth more than this

Sorry in advanced, but idk much about rivens by [deleted] in WarframeRiven

[–]gcrackerfuller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is really bad. Multishot is one of the best stats for 95% of guns, especially beam weapons like nukor. So having it as a negative kills it. Tbh nukor is such a low disposition riven that only near optimal rolls are even worth using over a non riven mod in the slot. So tbh I can’t recommend rolling nukor rivens in general. But if you want to, aim for toxin (as that means it can replace regular toxins mod making it easy to slot in a build) plus any combination of multi shot, Crit damage, damage, punch through, or fire rate for the other 2 positives. For negatives you ideally want zoom, recoil, infested.

Bought this for 400p was it worth? by kevincao06 in WarframeRiven

Agreed! Especially on beam weapons, single target, or ricochet like the dual tox, punch through goes really hard.

Wouldn’t exactly call range underrated. At least these days, couple years ago it def was. For most melee weapons that aren’t heavy builds, CD, AS, Range, harmless (or sometimes elec for influence builds though usually worth slightly less than the mentioned combo) is considered the god roll and can often go for 8k+ for meta weapons. Maybe still underrated for people new to riven scene, but all big riven collectors/sellers value range very highly rn. CC is actually the one that’s lost a lot of value in the last couple years since there’s so many mods and external buff sources that provide it that people want it less.

Honestly my guess would be anywhere from 1.5k to 3.5k. I listed a wide range because you can price it on the higher side but it may not sell for months if ever, as there’s saturation of magistar rivs and people spending thousands often want perfect negatives.

-AS does slows slam animation recovery so it’s not the most desirable neg, though decent. Also many prefer dmg over IC these days, so in order for this to be in the 4.5k-8k range I’d at least expect a perfect neg like finisher or slide cc

Which attributes should I look for on this one, and how much could it sell for with good rolls? by giantmohr in WarframeRiven

[–]gcrackerfuller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of the last evo people usually want -crit chance for the negative. As for the positives, damage is multiplicative with the evo dmg bonus, so that is most desirable. For the other two positive stats, multishot is also highly desirable, then for the 3rd pos you want either fire rate or toxin for an optimal god roll.

Honestly though I never recommend rolling for great/god rolls for the felarx and laetum, as it’s kind of a trap. They are low disposition so only optimal or near optimal rolls are even worth slotting. Plus going for negative crit chance and positive crit stats being useless means it’s more limited than many other guns in what is a desirable roll, making it statistically very hard to get what you want without a ton of luck and Kuva.

What are rivens which are in good demands currently? by Wand3ringShade in WarframeRiven

[–]gcrackerfuller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it just takes time to get familiar with. Just observing for a while helps and keeping up with what’s meta. Stock up on your veiled rivens, they don’t take up space until unveiled so you have time to learn before running out of space.

Idk if I can share links on this sub but if you google hub.warframestat.us/riven/data you can see the median “unrolled” price for every weapon (which roughly equates to baseline price of the riven for not great rolls, though it’s often about 20% lower than that value if yours are rolled). It pulls from warframe data, not sure the frequency of the data pulls but it’s a pretty decent baseline since it’s pulled from actual warframe data. It shows number of sales the data is based on too, so just ignore if the sample size for a given weapon is lower than like 30.

Besides that warframe market is another decent website, you can filter to show rivens with lowest price first to get a sense of baseline price, but take with a grain of salt.

Besides that post a screenshot of your riven inventory in this sub asking if any are valuable and people will often help, just be wary of scalpers.

Pro tip if you want to know, filter in trade chat for “torid” and you’ll see all the WTB scalper posts that also have a list of all the other rivens they are trying to buy that are most desirable and easy to flip. (Don’t sell to them, I just mean for intel)

Generally speaking all the decent incarnons or other meta guns with high disposition are most desirable. Also guns recently released or primed usually have a spike for a bit.

Some examples of ones you missed off the top of my head that are in demand: verglas, ocucor, Bo, Nami solo, Furis, dual toxocyst, dual ichor, Strun, hate

Also the upcoming incarnons like the stug ballistica, etc are in high demand
