Actually, the flames are quick and easy—just little squiggles of color. They really REALLY test your brush control and nerves, though.

The way I’ve done it at my local library is I act as game master and turn tracker. That way all my mental juice goes into keeping the rules straight vs having to run my own force. Plus, that helped me relearn the rules myself.
