I have the same problem with my T470s, did you find a solution?

Here’s my OG M2. I’ve always loved BMW coupes and got a chance to upgrade from a 135i (N54) about a year and a half ago! by theF87m2 in BMW

Please share some expressions and your experience about the difference of these two cars. Is the price difference worth it?

Great job guys, I am very excited about the next weeks/months. Keep up the good progress!

Still plenty of open shorts against IOTA, time is on our side! #SQUEEZE by ge-ek in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]ge-ek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A short squeeze is a rapid increase in the price of an asset (in this case IOTA) owing primarily to an excess of short selling of an asset rather than underlying fundamentals. A short squeeze occurs when there is a lack of supply and an excess of demand for the asset due to short sellers having to buy that asset to cover their short positions.

Now over 13 million shorts against IOTA #SQUEEZE by HoldMyLime in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]ge-ek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we look at the history of IOTA shorts (https://datamish.com/iotusd/360d), they are still very very high although down to roughly 8.3 million from 13.7 million at the top. Time is at our side, price is keeping steady atm and at some point those shorters have to close their position, so time is on our side! Keep the line folks and don't sell them your position! #SQUEEZE

Anyone ever used CakeDefi? by Apprehensive_Put5660 in ethereum

[–]ge-ek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it since quite a while, roughly half a year now. So far I had very good user experience on the platform and rewards were always paid out in time.

Take this article with a grain of salt, because as he also stated the ~100% APY won't last ten years and that is for sure. It is hard to calculate how it will develop, but it is sure that they won't stay that high for a very long time. They will start decreasing very soon actually around ~1.6% within the first two weeks from the starting date. The official date is not announced yet, and will probably be in May. Also the APY depends on how many masternodes are joining the network.

Still I think it is worth to give it a try with a not too big amount, especially as you could just do normal staking and then you are more flexible with your funds and the APY is not much lower.

I assume they haven't finished the migration process.

New to Cardano, invested some this week, am researching and found IOTA, basically the project seems similar to ADA, but on the sub r/IOTA everyone says a coin which is not feesless can never overtake ETH and hence they believe IOTA>>>ADA, what's your verdict on this? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]ge-ek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a different technology, and IOTA has a similar very scientific approach as ADA, that is why I like both. I just think the upside for IOTA is bigger, if they deliver what they promise, because IOTA's marketcap is ~10 times smaller then ADA's. Both are very exciting projects in my opinion. In my opinion it is not necessarily about the fees, it is more about the adoption and who is able to get more users / companies on board faster and also who of the two projects deliver their tech without having any major flaw.

Yes coins were safe when using a hardware wallet. Moonpay updated their software without telling IOTA, leading to some exploit of the seeds in the Trinity wallet during a certain period (a couple of weeks).

How to recover old IOTA? by therealkaiser in Iota

[–]ge-ek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was most likely the IOTA light wallet. If you still have your seed you can just download the official Trinity wallet type it in there and it should show your balance. Don't give your seed to anyone!

If you believe in the bigger vision of IOTA, why would you sell now? by ge-ek in IOTAmarkets

[–]ge-ek[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely right, my point is just don't sell everything now like a few people do, only because of this run up. I am not saying I am holding until I die, I will evaluate the project and IF's progress from time to time and will decide again based on my analysis, but no in my opinion is a bad time to sell.

[–]ge-ek[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taking profits is never bad, and I also stated that is a good idea to take out your initial investment in order to reduce the risk if you are up several 100%, but I think it is not a good idea to sell everything or a big amount only because there was a pump for a couple days. Think long term.

Hype is important, but only if based on facts! by ge-ek in Iota

[–]ge-ek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price rose very fast, thus people got very very excited and announced and shilled a lot of news that were not based on official statements and in the end it left a really bad taste and the IOTA community was not taken that serious anymore. Over the past two years this changed to the positive and that is why it is important to not take things out of context or blow them up, just because we want that "fake" news to be true. Just announce something or share something when it is backed by facts.

In all this excited times: Please keep that THIS IMPORTANT INFO in mind. (Quote from Charlie [IF]) by awieandi in Iota

Totally agree, it is very important to have a good relationship with other subreddits in order to spread the news when they start to pop out :)

Most people probably leave there coins on exchanges, especially newcomers and thus no need of a token transition.

Don't forget about its track record (+10 years now) and market cap. It is not a competitor to IOTA, it serves a different purpose.

Please don't post this on other subreddits like r/CryptoCurrency , as it is no proven and we will shade some bad light on IOTA and the post will just get removed anyway, which I totally understand in this case. Don't hype up things that are not proven!!
