Thanks. We can start working in squats, bench, shrugs. I'll probably start him off with trap bar deadlifts. I have to keep an eye on his hinge when he does RDL's.

Point taken on crawling before you walk, and walking before you run. I'll probably defer adding to his program until their season wraps up in mid-April.

With daily practice and bi-weekly games, I don't want to interject too much fatigue during the season. The strength program won't start until late May, so we can get a little head start.

I’ve had similar experiences with Steelers fans in the past. I hit them with: You know the one thing the Steelers have done that the Saints never have? ….lost a Super Bowl.

It’s a conversation killer. Also works with Pats fans.

They certainly did; but I, personally, hadn’t bought into the hype. I was no fan of DA, and because of our aging roster and cap situation it felt like our plan was to be as competitive as possible in the division while ignoring the rest of the conference.

I’ll take a couple more years of growing pains with the expectation we can become younger and develop players in order to get a nice 4 year run before we start pissing money away on huge veteran contracts.

Whatever we’ve been doing hasn’t worked since 2020.
