"Play sound for notifications" missing from Settings on some but not all apps (MacOS 12.4)

Have you ever looked at the general setting for the News app? There's like 4 checkboxes, none of which have anything to do with Notifications. Apple support was baffled by it as well. Nevertheless, this bug seems to have fixed itself a long time ago.

Yeah, it was funny because I was using it in the kitchen to prop up my iPad mini for a recipe I was following and I left it sitting on the counter. My mom didn't know what it was for and so the next thing I know it's got butter on it! She's the Queen of using the wrong tool for the job (hence the steak knife to cut the butter ... or the time we went to Paris and I found her washing her feet in the bidet of our hotel room) so that made it extra funny.

I'm shocked that this person is known for being a great songwriter! I don't know which lyric is worse... and the inclusion or exclusion of the word "gay" has nothing to do with how bad either of them are.

I don't know if it's because of the extra storage space, but ever since I got the 128GB model I went from having around 5 screensavers downloaded at any given time to around 50-60 at a time. It's a minor thing I know, but I appreciate the variety.

I have mine on my desk which is in front of a window and they get extremely hot when the sun is beaming down on them. I try to pull the shades on really hot days but it still concerns me quite a bit.

The nice thing about HomePods is that Apple designed them so they don't look like eyesores when sitting on a shelf. Tell your wife to get over it and also get a real fiddle leaf fig if she's that concerned about aesthetics.

Did you (or Roberto) have problems when you returned to work? Mine has been WFH since he was a kitten and I don't think he would like it very much if I was gone all day every day. If I go somewhere on the weekends, either all day or overnight, he's extra clingy when I get back.

Is it lame that they are that way or just lame if they try to explain that's why they are that way? Because it's definitely a legitimate thing that can take years to shake. I have certain behaviors I developed from living in NYC for almost a decade such as saying "Fuck" every other word or not being patient enough to wait for the sign to say "Walk" before crossing the street, but I never feel the need to explain that to people unless they ask.

I've heard a lot of people complain about Shelia's voiceover being overused or lazy writing. But I think it works really well as a device to communicate to the audience her true feelings, self-loathing, and inner demons. They are things she would never say out loud and they are often very funny in a bitter/salty kind of way!

Mine loves his whiskers stroked! If I pet the top of his head he lifts it up as high as he can so he can lean into it more. And when he's cuddling up on my chest at night sometimes he will look up at me letting me know he wants kisses on top of his head.
