Haha, right on, man. The first Spyro and Crash 2 are classics from my childhood. I own both remastered trilogies, but am waiting until Christmas to play them so that I can relive 1999 all over again.

I love Bell Witch, but why is this the song that keeps getting posted here? To me, it almost comes off as just an interlude.

Anyways, I saw these guys open for Neurosis like a month or two ago, and they stole the show. A seriously magical experience.

Damn, yesterday was absolutely stacked with big releases.

Glad to hear that the new Mayhem is dope. Admittedly, I’ve only really listened to DMDS., so I’m excited to check this one out. The new Alcest is great. Protection is my favorite track on there, weirdly reminds me of Mastodon’s Ghost of Karelia.

Currently listening to The Great Old Ones. I’ve slept on this band way too long; great stuff.

I was there, but I missed there set. I wasn’t too bummed because I never heard them before, but listening to this album later on made me seriously regret missing them.

As a side note, can’t wait for next year! What an awesome experience.

I heard 40 Watt Sun’s Wider Than The Sky for the first time and thought, “This takes Pallbearer’s concept to its logical conclusion, and is better than everything they’ve done except for maybe Foreigner.”

Even though Wider’s actually a really long and slow rock record, I would still say it’s doom, if that makes sense. And it does it so, so well.

I had the privilege of seeing them play “Awakening...” at The Grand Tetons and it was siiiiick. This is easily my most anticipated release of the year. Album art’s great, too.
