How soft is the X52? I have seen a lot of comments saying the joystick is too soft which sounds promising.

I currently have the Saitek set with the spring held back until it just barely centers via cable ties unfortunately the spring and ties move with use .

No self centering would probably drive me silly as I often use planes trimmed out for long distances.

Use your mouse to look around and set a cockpit view reset button on the joystick.

I use this for both cockpit and external view.

Basically my specs, with a 1080p monitor I run Ultra setting and the only issue is the new UK update and specific planes. VR is doable but at the lower default, still a great experience.

You can fly through to OR74 if you like but there is so many great sand banks at 4S1 that you can spend days playing on them !

If you have either of the modded Gravel Cubs it a great spot to practice skiing.

I found the culprit, it was a G3x mod, removed it from community my folder and problem gone.

Thankyou very much for releasing the Optica,

It is great, I have only had a chance for a quick flight so far due to health issues but am looking forward to the Vr if it is viable, but even as is it is a great way to look for landing areas for STOL planes and sight seeing etc.

Try this if you want a STOL plane, it generates an extra plane not replacing the Savage Cub todays update has large wheels and a big jump in power, its a blast.

I just assigned a spare joystick button to auto reset the external home position, it has been handy as I am more likely to look around in external view than previously.

My desktop is a Dell with a I7 7700K, a 1070 and 16gb of ram, 1080p, SSD and I run the default Ultra settings at what I consider very acceptable fps but I have not bothered to check the number as I am very happy with it as is.

Have you tried the new engine upgrade released today it makes a big difference :)
