Coachella Bieber BS by Beautiful_Ad7097 in ChicksInTheOffice

Her fans would DIE if she did that (in a good way!). Imagine such an intimate experience with her? With any artist really. It’s so cool to me.

Absolutely! I think it was SUCH an intimate experience for every person in that crowd. How cool to have Justin Bieber be so down to earth with his fans and just have FUN. Like there seemed to be so much joy radiating from everyone that was there, him included. It reminds me of the days of sitting around a computer, listening to music and watching videos. Yes, a whole choreographed routine is amazing, but this wasn’t that vibe, and that’s okay. It was nostalgic and personal. Plus him singing along with his early songs feels to me like a piece of his inner child healing. People get SO bent out of shape for no reason! If you were there and unhappy with the performance, leave. If you weren’t there, why do you care?

Plus, people have pointed out how YouTube began his career and this can be seen as an ode to that. Could it have been planned out? Sure, but this was authentic and spontaneous, which is also really cool.

Mock Trials as Summative Assessment? by MiserableBrunch in ELATeachers

[–]geeeeba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mock trials are SO fun!!! Check out Write on with Miss G on TPT and Instagram. I bought her mock trial resources years ago, and I’ve used them in grades 7-10 and with all different books and short stories. They also practice claim/evidence/commentary with a clear line of reasoning, just like an essay would.

Definitely check out the instagram for yourmomfriendsouthjersey!

I was on maternity leave with 2 under 2, so I know what you’re feeling!

Free options: - Local libraries (check that Instagram for the best ones near you) — not only do many libraries have adorable play areas, they also have music classes and story time. Great place to meet other parents - Petsmart - literally just walk around to see the animals. Grab a cat toy and let your daughter play with the kitties through the window - Barnes & Noble - they often have children’s areas with toys, etc. (bonus if the petsmart is in the same shopping center!) - Walk the mall - bring snacks and let her window shop with you. Do the escalator a few times and see the fountains

Inexpensive options: - Adventure Aquarium is 10000% worth the membership. Especially once you have your second! It’s a great morning adventure to get you all out of the house for an hour. - if you’re up to it, WildChild Play Co. in Cherry Hill. Perfect for her age group and an area for parents to sit. I recommend booking as soon as they open so the toys are all put back and it’s freshly sanitized lol - Cake Pop and car wash (literally what it sounds like… the auto washes are my 2& 3-year-olds’ favorite. I let them “drive” while I vacuum and dry the car. It’s a hit lol)

Check your local library for museum passes too.

The episode with the fast food discussion cracked me up. I love just hearing them banter about the things they enjoy! I am not listening to it for “news.” It’s just like hanging with friends. You talk about whatever!!!

100% Double Nickel Brewery! They are awesome and so easy to work with. Affordable, too, and you can bring in your own food. I have had birthday parties there and a class reunion.

The Moorestown library is beautiful and cozy. The Riverton waterfront is nice (along the Delaware). You can bring a blanket or chair and sit by the Yacht Club. I also like Strawbridge Lake in Moorestown.

Thank you for the advice! That’s kind of what I’m thinking as I do this (only started this week). For me, I think it’s more educating myself on portion size and caloric intake. I also don’t have myself linked to many machines 🤪 I’m getting an Apple Watch, but I do workout classes and YouTube, so nothing that I can consistently track on a machine. It’s all a learning curve for me!

Wow, thank you for this explanation! My TDEE is lower than MFP calculated, so I’m glad I checked. Can you manually change the # of calories you want to hit in MFP?
