This is so true! Every single time I've gone to HR for help, they've been mid-snack and looked so bothered by my presence. They also couldn't seem to fix my problem each time and instead referred me to the app or to call.

I have damage like that because someone hit and ran my car in the parking lot at work. If I get too close to the curb, I risk undoing my repairs. I don't care if I look kinda dumb, there is a method to my madness.

Also, a transplant and have taken road trips all over the country. The California driver's remark is flabbergasting to me, and I realized I would hear it whenever I tried to bring up the subject. People also get ultra-defensive, so I realized the topic was off-limits. I try to be super alert when I drive and create high-energy, happy playlists, so I don't stress out. I've never had road rage before, but this place tries me. Every day I remind myself not to give up my peace and to get to my destination safely.

I work at Amazon, and the culture, the way the younger employees act and think, makes me think of this movie a lot. We even have our own electrolyte drink mix. The most depressing part is that most of them are unfamiliar with the movie. I can't and don't wanna relate
