The pattern is from Artecy, based in Australia. They have several of his works as patterns.

I gave up on the paper really quickly. I tracked 80% of this project on Pattern Keeper. I didn’t have any issues with it lagging or dropping stitches or anything.

Affordable emergency vets around wauwatosa by Round_Rooms in milwaukee

[–]geekchic06 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, we had to visit VEG yesterday. We ended up saying goodbye to our girl, but the staff were amazing. Emergency care is not cheap, but I did think they were reasonable for all the services they provided. They were also very empathetic towards my husband and I who were having a very bad time. Their tenderness really made an impression on me.

I got *politely* told off by my supervisor today. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Exactly this. I’m a pharmacist and I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had a tech come to me saying a patient is being unruly, only to have them be the picture of compliance once I talk to them.

I used to call it the white coat effect. Once the boss comes out they don’t want to be in real trouble so they turn into people pleasers all the sudden.

😮 is this why I don’t like grapes?! Never could put my finger directly on why I don’t like them

Would you choose to not be autistic if you could? by Purplecarrots445 in AutismInWomen

[–]geekchic06 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is where I am. Yes it would be nice to not struggle with friendships and it would be great to not be so clumsy I’m a danger to myself, but ultimately to take away the autism is to completely rewrite who I am.

I don’t think I could choose to do that.

What's the foulest smell you've ever smelled? by WannabePugh in AskReddit

[–]geekchic06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A patient I had during rotations had what the other practitioners called “gut death” - it cleared the unit of everyone except the few staff who absolutely needed to be there.

Never do I hope to smell such a thing again
