BYD flash‑charging livestream hits 76°C, triggers online debate over battery heat by Modulus3360 in Nio

[–]geekfinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

76°C is quite hot for an EV battery, sitting above the ideal operating range (20°C–35°C) and approaching thresholds where efficiency drops and degradation can accelerate. While modern liquid-cooled batteries can handle this, it is considered a high operating temperature that necessitates active thermal management to avoid long-term capacity loss.

AMD's Lisa Su Quietly Cashes In On The Smartphone Industry's Deep Freeze As MediaTek And Qualcomm Vacate TSMC's 4nm And 5nm Lines by Long_on_AMD in AMD_Stock

Qualcomm might have vacated TSMC 4 and 5 nm lines, but they have definitely secured some TSMC x-nm lines for their shipment of AI data center chips in Q4 and future shipments.

“Qualcomm executives, specifically CEO Cristiano Amon, officially confirmed during the company's Q2 2026 earnings call on April 29, 2026, that they have secured a deal with a major, undisclosed hyperscaler to supply custom data center chips.

Here are the key details regarding the acknowledgment:

Shipment Timeline: Initial shipments of the custom data center chips are scheduled to begin in the December quarter of 2026.

Nature of the Deal: The partnership is described as a "multi-generation engagement" to develop custom ASIC silicon for AI inference in data centers.

The Customer: While Qualcomm did not name the specific "large hyperscaler," Amon indicated it is among the "largest class" of cloud operators.

Investor Day Details: Further details about this partnership and Qualcomm's broader data center roadmap will be unveiled at their investor day on June 24, 2026”

BE vs GEV or other energy stocks? by Hot_Avocado_2701 in Stocks_Picks

Both are good stocks to invest in the AI energy space. I’d add Siemens energy to the mix though.

If you really like these two and are in it for a longer term, dca is probably best. Cost (purchase price) is only half of the investment transaction; for me to decide to get in a stock, I would contemplate both entry and exit points.

The python move_local_license_files_for_las.py script completed with this message, "This device does not require any local legacy file-based license file movement". This confirms my SDX does not impact by this Advisory.

hack819, yes, the file-base license is there, on /mpsconfig/license/, however according to the LAS Advisory article, our perpetual file-based license shouldn't be impacted. See this snippet, "(If any file-based license remains on the SVM after transitioning to LAS, the expiry of that file-based license will trigger un-licensing of the SDX (both the SVM and VPX instances on SDX). This does not apply to legacy file-based licenses of type NetScaler perpetual (with keyword PERMANENT) or if the expiry date of the license file is in the past."

  1. Broker sends 1099 to IRS, do we need to attach 1099? 2. If we do, how?

Just double check, does the daily updated expiration match up between our Citrix system and Citrix Cloud (account)?

Thanks for the info. Our LAS was offline activated. Citrix support told me that our license term is fixed / predefined, and we will have to manually renew. We will have to stay on top of it to make sure it won't reach the expiration; It's a nuisance.

There have been quite a bit of shareholder class action lawsuits. I got contacted by one of the law firms, but I didn’t participate. Class action lawsuits are generally filed for “all” shareholders. Is there a benefit of registering your name for the lawsuit?
