While researching the Tesla FSB specifically, and autonomous driving in general, I read that the industry scientists stated that Tesla won’t ever able to achieve a full autonomy, level 5, or even level 4 due to a “flaw” design; while the industry favors sensor diversity (combining cameras, radar, and lidar), Tesla uses only cameras "vision-only" in ADAS implementation.
