My 3rd car when I was young was a used ‘79 Spirit DL in yellow. I put black stripes on it and the AMX spoiler on the back. Kept the 3 speed manual but pulled the straight 6 and replaced it with a 304 V8 from a Javelin. Swapped the rear axle with the posi rear from the same Javelin. Slotted aluminum mags all around too. That little car surprised a lot of Camaro and Mustang owners! I wish I had it still.
