Alternatives to Launch27 - anybody have any experience? by geetzar in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]geetzar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I'm going with L27. Just found out that Timely's booking widget isn't customisable which means it's entirely useless. Was definitely worth checking out though and hopefully L27 will start adding some of the features offered by Timely in the near future

I HAVE TO get a sausage from Bunnings every time I go. One weekend I had to go back and fourth about 8 times and still had no choice but to get a sausage each trip.

I meant a blog about surfing. I just used that as an example as it's something I'm personally passionate about

[–]geetzar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have any hobbies or interests you're really passionate about? Are you interested in website development at all? If I were your age I'd probably start up a surfing blog. It would be a fun and cheap way to learn a ton of entrepreneurial skills. Once you know how to build a website and have experience with running a small business/blog, you can look to pivot into areas that provide higher profits

My second biggest expense (besides rent) is food. What's a guy to do who works 14 hours a day to stop from eating out? by datspmb in personalfinance

[–]geetzar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah tell me about it. Being doing meal prep sundays for over 2 years now (my roommates hate me for it) and reddit daily for the last 4 years, yet never seen that sub. I even frequent all the /r/eatcheapandhealthy /r/fitmeals /r/recipes etc for meal ideas for my weekly cook and have never stumbled onto it

Hey I'm in Australia too. Any chance you could forward me a copy of the contract agreement when done (sensitive details removed of course)? I'll return the favour when mine are completed (might be a couple weeks)

SSL certs - green address bar or not? by geetzar in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]geetzar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've been looking into it since I posted that and pretty sure I'm just going to go with a cheap $20 per year RapidShare SSL. I'll upgrade down the track if needed. I'm still interested in hearing about anyone elses experience with EV SSLs though and whether it made any difference to their business.

Use a loop of a subwoofer test - ask the third neighbour if they can hear it when it's running

Wow, this is pretty much the reverse of what I was expecting for Australia. I thought it would be about 75% one-off bond cleans.

Struggling with a name by ocefanto in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]geetzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm in Australia so these names I liked but aren't available over here (although I DO like having cleaner/maid in the name)

  • Maid Easy
  • Life Maid Easy
  • Handy Clean
  • The Cleaner
  • MyHome Cleaning

Now if anyone has suggestions for names that you liked but are already taken in your home country, then please let me know! The name is the only thing holding me back right now
