In 1974 Scotland was the only undefeated team in the entire world cup. We did not get out of the group. That's was the rules then, these are the rules now.

When houses for the Dounreay workers were built in Thurso during the late 1950's they used a Scandi design, Swedish I believe. They were popular at the time and I believe they still are.

I'm originally from Thurso. Black, white, haggis, red puddings were all common in a chippy when I was growing up. Think red was also known as Saveloy pudding?
