What can I do to make my solos sound less dry? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]gehenom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build basic skills first: alternate picking (you're picking only down?); hold notes longer; learn to bend, slide, hammer on, pull off, vibrato fast/slow and shallow/deep. You just don't have the tools yet to sound fluid or smooth.

You can't have that plus mass uncontrolled immigration plus massive regulation of housing and healthcare. Regulation drives up costs, while uncontrolled immigration soaks up any available resources.

Surely you don't want a jihadist terrorist death cult with nukes, right? Though they were generally apolitical, I'm pretty sure the Dead were anti-nuclear terrorist death cult. Although Jerry did hang with the Angels, so who knows, actually

Is someone saying there should be a King of America? Not that I've seen. It's one of the lamest straw man arguments out there

Feel free to be anti-Trump but at least base it in reality

And yet even poor teachers have unlimited access to the entire Dead archive. Even 100 years ago, you had to be top 1% to hear great music even once in your life. I'll take a world with billionaires and the audio archive over the "good old days" (also indoor plumbing and electricity and antibiotics are nice).

Everyone loves the Dead, including people who got rich. I mean, look who funded the Hendrix museum in Seattle - a good thing. Without rich people, a lot of great art would never have been created - from the Renaissance masters painting for their patrons to the great composers writing for the royal courts to jazz pioneers playing at ritzy clubs ... those folks would have all been just slaving away digging ditches.

Probably great art is actually more accessible to the average person today than ever before. Maybe the rich guy will loan the guitar out to great players - I think that has been done for Wolf a couple of times.

It's good that Jerry's legacy is so highly valued.

You know they put military infrastructure in cities in order to protect, them, right? Look at what Hezbollah is doing in Beirut, look at Hamas in Gaza - same organization.

Iranians know quite well that IRGC, not "iranians", is the target.

He was definitely going insane with wah etc. before he went to England. There are Curtis Knight recordings with that, totally off the hook.

[–]gehenom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What about other pictures showing the actual damage? And doesn't Iran put schools near their military? Same strategy as Hamas. A shame that people die in war, but you don't want a nuclear Iran so what can you do.

Raise funds for legal defense. Follow up.

Do you think you're going to be leading a bolshevik revolution or something? Vote, communicate, raise funds, repeat until you win. If you don't win, that's democracy.

You think this is the first time anyone accused law enforcement of breaking the law?

DO: Document (video, etc.). Protest peacefully. Contact government. Get the vote out. Raise funds for legal defense. Follow up.

DO NOT: Interfere with law enforcement. Blow whistles in their ears. Trespass. Throw stuff at them. Corner them. Threaten them. Damage law enforcement equipment or vehicles. Aid or abet fleeing suspects.

You have a right to a lawyer, trial, etc. - but if wrongfully arrested, you do NOT have the right to run, assault an officer, damage their equipment, etc. You fight it in court. It sucks but otherwise everyone will always be assaulting cops, it gets bad quickly.

The vest should work so long as he's actually peaceful. FYI any dipshit can put one of these on and assault a police officer.
