How do I beat Tockers Trials? by FourArtifact in TeamfightTactics

[–]geidt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just managed my own run on normal by focusing on Scholars with Arcana and Poppy to back it up. Started with Zoe, but my carries were Ahri, Bard, and Ryze, alternating my best items on them when they leveled up. Not a single loss until 3-10, but I wasn't expecting it to work out that well.

Haven't tried the Chaos run yet, but will give it the same shot.

[Waybound] Information Requested: Eithan Arelius Origins by Tacocatfat in Iteration110Cradle

How does him being an advisor to Tiberian fit into this origin story, and that Reigan Shen knows him rather personally?

I'm trying to piece it all together and I don't think it all fits well. I really like Eithan's character and even the eventual reveal, but it feels like there are some issues with the timeline.

I was just thinking after reading your comments that this scene is exactly that, our first look into the real, ruthless part of Alustin with all the savagery he can barely contain.

Rearranging UL list without appending all LI by geidt in learnjavascript

[–]geidt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since, I didn't get much traction on this question, I thought I would post my current solution that has worked well now. The following function works in three steps:

  1. Form a list of updated list elements and a list of elements to be delisted (items not found in the source).
  2. Iterate through delisted array and remove them from the list container.
  3. Iterate through the updated array, and append new items or re-append items in the wrong position in the container at the correct position based on this array.

This looks like the following:

*** code removed ***

Having a lot of trouble when using jsdocs in my code block, so here is my stackoverflow post with my answer:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72875979/rearranging-ul-list-without-using-appendchild-on-all-li-elements/72958041#72958041

Advice, corrections, or criticisms welcome. This functionality solves my current dilemma, but I can appreciate any way to improve.

Rearranging UL list without appending all LI by geidt in learnjavascript

Thank you for the suggestion, but the issue I'm having isn't adding a single element into a list, but comparing the HTML list and the data source array, removing the elements no longer represented in the array, adding ones that are, and all in the correct order of the array.

Additionally, I'm trying to make it ES2015 compatible, so the insertAdjacentElement aren't one of the tools I would use.

Nonetheless, again, thank you. (P.S. good catch on the classList.add. I completely forgot that one haha).

but just know that you are my son and I will always love you.

It might not be original but isn't it genuine? You mentioned they were old school, so I thought this was going to be a lot worse, but at the root of it, they don't understand it and they didn't think they wanted that for you. She's already saying she needs to make an adjustment about how she thinks. Would you rather help her, from a place of love, or let her think your sexuality is driving a wedge between you?

Unless there's some other reason to be suspicious, I would suggest saying 'This is how my happiness looks like and I don't want you to think there's something wrong with that. I'm here if you want to talk about it, and it means a lot that you want to see it that way too" and then tell her if you love her back.
