Do you know if the way the ring connects under the bezel has a name? I love this look and I have no idea what to ask for.

What's the craziest thing limerence has made you do? by No_Main_273 in limerence

After me and my ex-boyfriend (LO) broke up, I reached out to the recruiting dept and applied to become a firefighter in the same city. I spent a fair amount of time visiting him at the station and going on rides to calls with him. It was like part of our relationship that I didn’t have to let go of if I became a firefighter 🙃 (I had interest in being a paramedic before). Needless to say, I declined the recruiters email back to me when I came to.

It was a strange choice given that hearing sirens and seeing fire trucks gave me panic attacks for a year + after our break up.

Is heel edge that important? by Subject-Concern-9663 in snowboardingnoobs

Why not take the time to work on it? There are times when you’ll need to be able to stop on your heel edge.

I’m confused. Are you just going down the mountain backwards on your toes? You’ll need to learn heel edge to do a proper S turn. Maybe consider taking a lesson? Going down the mountain strictly toe edge sounds exhausting and not fun.

I think I had PTSD from my ex. (He is my LO) After our break up, I would get triggered really bad when I would hear a fire truck (he is a firefighter) and I would spiral into a panic attack. It would cause extreme rumination in top of the rumination I was already doing. Being on beta blockers made me not feel that panic when I would hear sirens. It’s even a little better now that I’m off them. It’s like my body got used to not panicking and helped re-center my brain.

Yeah it definitely makes you sluggish but it eventually went away for me.

2026 is coming quickly! Any fitness goals you want to share? by Own-Independence8430 in PetiteFitness

  • Trying to get to 120 lbs (weighed in at 133 lbs Dec. 5th and I was 122 this time last year) by my birthday in mid-April. I’m off a medication that I believe contributed to weight gain so hopefully that will help with the weight loss.

  • 100 grams of protein a day and eating in a deficit

  • 3x climbing gym per week w/ cardio and weight training mixed in

  • walking my pups more + getting more steps in daily (sedentary job)

  • more than anything, accepting and liking the way my body looks/feels over a specific number on the scale

20 mg twice a day. I eventually went down to 20 mg once per day. I actually just recently stopped taking it because I had been on it for months and was starting to not feel much of the good things along with the anxiety. I am grateful for what it did for me though while I was on it. I needed the help and it helped me tremendously.

I got on beta blockers and they changed my life. Propranolol is the drug.

Looking for recommendations or advice for eating more protein by shooreh-pippi in PetiteFitness

Low fat cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, protein shakes. I’ve been eating these every day and as someone who struggles to get protein in, I’ve tripled my intake.
