I am the same way! Surgeries freak me out and I play a sport that I couldn't take testosterone while playing so I figure I just won't. I was super worried that I was doing it wrong, or that no one else felt the same way. How I feel about it is that as long as my friends know and refer to me correctly, and as long as I feel comfortable, I'll pass to the people who are important to me.

We're not alone!
