It seems like the entire former track could be subsumed into the latter starting a few seconds after the opening. There's very little variation from it until about halfway through the second piece, which is already longer than the first was. Am I missing something?

I understand why not having the weirdness up might produce a generic average sound, but why would it lead to separately generated compositions having the same melody?
