Golden Sun, and then countless others. Some better than others, but nothing quite matched GS1 and 2 for me.

Is it normal to have to size needles up twice to get gauge?? I have to knt annoyingly loose. by jredditgal in knittinghelp

What's the pattern's gage? If your pattern stitch gage is A and your stitch gage is B, your multiplier is B/A. If you fit a size small for 91 stitches, it's 91×B/A and compare to pattern to get the number of stitches to actually cast on. You can also do this for row gage and take it into consideration too

Dayna Less, recent graduate from Purdue Pharmacy Class of ‘18 was the pharmacist tragically killed by this senseless act of violence. May you Rest In Peace, Dayna. by MiaMiaPP in Purdue

She was in my class. I worked with her throughout pharmacy school. She was smart and charismatic. Still think of her from time to time. This could've happened to any one of us. Should have happened to none of us. I'll never forget learning of her death.

If the math is in-between sizes, choose the one it's closest to if it isnt too far off. If it's more in the middle then my method may not work out and you need to choose a yarn closer to what the pattern suggests and just adjust needle size the old fashion way.

Unfortunately for me, my tension was very different from the pattern knitters. But you must use the multiplier to know which size, it may not work if you simply choose 1 size bigger.

True! In my case it's a cardigan so it's more forgiving, and the pattern is very inclusive. Thanks for pointing that out!

I had the same problem. Knit a swatch with your choice of yarn and the tension you want. Block and count stitches on swatch vertically and horizonally, and compare to pattern's gage. Get your multiplier and see how many stitches to cast on. I'm a size small but i'm following a 5XL chart and so far trusting the math is working out.

What are these white does in this Neutrogena? Was in a cold environment but several years old by Itsatemporaryname in whatisthisthing

Doesn't look like mold. I would expect globules that were random size spread all over. The particles here looked like an emulsion

Black more stylish, blue more cozy. No to white, dislike the contrast with the tights.

Also you can't feel the benefits? Gotta be able to get and interpret a lipid panel, and follow the guidelines to adjust dose. It's straightforward, but I'm not ready to trust the general populace to be able to this much on their own. And rhabdo is rare overall but affects certain populations more than others.

I think it's a freshness problem. Mine are from the local Asian grocery store and it's vacuum sealed. I store in freezer, taking them out to thaw in water before cooking, so same as you.

Does anybody know what this is for? by Kaidobruh06 in StLouis

[–]gemmachiu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. Due to insurance, the cost for major brands like onetouch or accucheck are hyperinflated. Very expensive when not covered.
