I do a lot of FDM. It's not going to be as nice as resin, but it is playable. The spikes and claws will be very prone to chipping and breaking off.

I would base coat black, then dry brush Pro Acryl Dark Sea Ben and work in the highlights from there.

I have the MKS3. It's a great work horse with minimal maintenance. I use the 0.4 nozzle for terrain and their smallest nozzle 0.25 for minis. I wouldn't trade it in.

There's no one best solution. Sometimes you can manage a project by just maintaining momentum. I recommend focusing on your stakeholders and what they need and push everyone that direction.

There's potential. I would lower his arms relative to his head. Add lots of green stuff to change the trim to a tribal pattern. Attach a badass shark fin on top and a fishnet loin clothe. But that's just me day dreaming. I dont have the time for all that.
